What does it mean to improve? How many steps will it take before it’s inevitable that you succeed? What will it take to earn more?
I find it always helps to have some kind of number in mind when you talk about improvement. Being specific is the best way to accomplish your goals and earn more with everything you do.
You can play around with this number, but I want you to try to earn 4X times more from everything you do. I want you to earn 4X more from your products, your services, and from all of your promotions.
Does that sound a little lofty? If you’re particularly unsure, or just want to make sure this works first, it’s fine to strive to earn 2X more from everything you do. The important thing is to keep that number in mind as you make these tweaks and improvements.
Now, I can’t make income promises of course. But I can direct you to the fact that if you put more of the right kind of effort into your work, it naturally follows that you can earn more money.
Right now, you have a certain way you promote products, write content, drive traffic, build relationships, and so on. You’re always looking for ways to do better, but your methods work “well enough” for you… at least for now.
Ditch that mindset. I want you to push the boundaries of, “what works.” Push the limits of what you expect from yourself and you’ll see some incredible rewards.
How the 4X Method Works
For every high-value activity you do, brainstorm 4 additional ways you can earn more and do more with it. Your goal is to earn 4X more from all of your projects.
What are 4 more things you can easily do for every important promotion or action in your business?
Note that this does not mean you’re doing 4X more work. You’re using one activity in multiple ways to easily boost your results and get more from what you already have.
Examples of Doing 4X More
Let’s talk about some examples so you can see what I mean. Let’s say you’re going to write an ebook to sell as a Warrior Special Offer. You’re pretty sure the book will be a good seller, particularly if you can get some great affiliates behind it.
But, what then? What happens after the rush of the special offer launch? That typically lasts a week or so, and surely under a month.
It astonishes me how many product creators come out with amazing products but then never promote them beyond the initial offer. It’s a silly mistake and you’re leaving some serious money on the table.
You can easily boost your income and your exposure by doing a little bit more. There are so many great, helpful products sitting on people’s hard drives that aren’t even for sale anymore because they were only promoted as a special offer. That sentence isn’t going to describe you anymore.
Instead of settling for that one method of listing and promoting a product, brainstorm 4 additional ways you can list or promote it.
For instance, you can list it on 4 additional marketplaces, such as JvZoo.com, Nanacast.com, ClickBank.com, Amazon.com, e-junkie, and on your own website. Get it up in more affiliate marketplaces and the chances are good more affiliates will start to promote your products.
You’re really selling yourself short by only relying on one promotional method and one affiliate center. Having more affiliates can dramatically boost your income without much extra work on your part. What are 4 more ways you can get more affiliates? Brainstorm that and use it as part of boosting your past products.
It doesn’t have to stop there, either. You can contact all of your past affiliates and incentivize them for promoting, even if you’re well beyond the initial launch date. Just because an affiliate didn’t promote for you at first doesn’t mean they won’t promote for you in the future. The more exposure you have, the more likely you are to gather an army of active affiliates.
You can also take a look at your current offers and go through your archives to see if you have any similar offers. Combine them together to create a new, special release promotion or product. It doesn’t take much extra work to do this, but you’ll no doubt make many more sales because it’s new and exciting and will entice people who didn’t buy the first time around. You’ll also get new affiliate on board because of the excitement of the special promo.
Also consider where you’re advertising and networking. Promote your product through Facebook groups, Twitter, paid ads, guest blogging, and more. Brainstorm 4 times as many marketing techniques and platforms than you would have focused on previously.
Maybe you’re not a product creator, but the chances are good that you do write content of some kind. Let’s say you’ve written an article and you plan to just put it up on your website. Instead, brainstorm 4 ways you can earn even more from this one article.
For example, you can write it and put it up on your website. You can also send it to your list as helpful, high quality content that helps them out and builds your relationship. If it’s a fairly long article, you can break it into sections and post the sections as blog posts. Or, you can combine many similar articles to give away as a free download or even to sell. You can use portions of content as teasers on Facebook.
My Highest Value Activity
Focus on using the 4X strategy with your highest value activities first. My highest value activity is growing and maintaining my forum, the Earn1KADay Insiders Club.
If you pay attention to my business model, you’ll no doubt notice that I’m always looking for ways to improve my forum. I often use its resources in more than one way, grow its user base, and strive to make it the best spot on the web for Internet marketers.
I could have just kept the forum the same over time. It’s always been a fairly decent earner for me and it gives me a lot of joy to communicate with the members. Honestly I could run it as a much more hands-off business model. But, I’m not satisfied with letting things stay the same when I know I can provide more value and get more value out of the forum myself.
I’ll always put as much effort into Earn 1K A Day as possible. I will always brainstorm ways to do more with everything I have in order to boost its value to me and to others. Do the same with the highest value activity or asset in your business. I promise you’ll see great things in return.
I don’t care who you are, everyone reading this can think of 4 ways to earn more from everything you do and release. Don’t worry so much about brainstorming for your lower value activities. But for your products, copy, services, articles, email campaigns, traffic generation, networking, and so on, stretch yourself to get 4X as much value.
Remember– the point is not to work harder or longer. I’m not telling you to work 4X as much. I am recommending that you take what already exists and brainstorm at least 4 ways you can earn more or get more out of it. Do 4 more promotions, tell 4 more people, find 4 more affiliates… do whatever it takes.
