Hello. Jason Fladlien here from DailySeminar.com. Today I’ve got some tactical stuff for you — how to recruit affiliates.
Well, of course, you need a product before you can do this, which should be an incentive for you to create your own product. If you’ve been following me and Robert already, that shouldn’t be a problem. We’ve already given you all the strategies that you could possibly ever want to do that at ProductUniversity.com and other web sites. But I’m not here to pitch on that. What I’m here to pitch you on is this great content you get as a member of DailySeminar.com and how you can use our own products to have others generate traffic for you.
Lance Tamashiro and I recruited affiliates. We ended up having a thousand affiliates for a product. Now did they all do gangbusters? No. 95 percent of them, I don’t think, made us more than one sale. In fact, most of them didn’t make any sales, but Lance Skyped me one day and said, “Check this out, Jason.” He did a Google search for Beverly Hills Traffic Report, because that’s what we were having the affiliates promote, and there was 96,000 results with quotes. It’s gone down since then for some reason. I don’t know how Google works, but I was like “Oh my god.” All these affiliates were going out and promoting this with all their different means. Some of them were doing it on their own blogs. Others were doing it in social networking, on all those sites; all kinds of fancy stuff that I absolutely have no idea how to even do nor would I have the time to do.

Today I’m going to discuss with you the key to joint ventures. I’ve had a lot of experience over the last year dealing with joint ventures and I’ve probably made more mistakes than anybody else when it comes to joint venturing, I’ve messed a lot of these up. But through trial and error I’ve kind of figured out the real world view of joint ventures, the stuff that I don’t hear other people talking about, and I’m going to give you some really practical applications. Typically everybody teaches the worst way to do joint ventures, so I’m going to teach you four more important and positive strategies for getting joint ventures to work, and you’re going to notice here that there aren’t some magic solutions, there’s a little bit of upfront work before you take it into account, but it’s worth it.
