Getting Your First Members

You’ve set up a Facebook group and you’re in the right mindset to succeed– it’s time to get your first members. I suggest you start adding value to your group first. Start to get conversation topics in there, include graphics, helpful links, free reports, and more. Including these items gives people something to do once they join a group. People like to see lots of activity and lots of different things to look at – even when a community is brand-new.

One of the first things you can do is tell your current contacts about your new group. You might ask close friends to help spread the word to help make your job easier. Tell people you trust and that you’ve already networked with so they can join and help get the conversation going. Seeding your group with people who will help get the conversation going can really help at first since people can be really shy when they first join a group.

Planning Your Sales Funnel

You’ve worked hard to create your product and now you need to work hard to sell your product. One of the most important things you can do to earn more money with your products is set up a great and well-thought-out sales funnel.

A sales funnel is the process you lead your customers or potential customers through. It starts off by capturing their attention, developing relationships, using the psychology of sales, guiding them to buy with a call to action, and then possibly presenting a potential series of upsells and/or downsells.

There are many different ways to create sales funnels, of course. It might be the case that you want to send people directly to your sales page instead of creating a full sales funnel. That may or may not work for the product you are promoting.

How to Choose a Joint Venture Partner

Entering into a joint venture agreement can be really exciting. You get to leverage the expertise, reach, and ideas of a partner you respect. Combined, you and your JV partner can achieve incredible things you simply wouldn’t have been able to achieve on your own.

The trouble comes when you don’t choose the right person or business to work with. Sometimes, it’s easy to figure out when a partnership won’t work. You might clash right away, not be able to come to an agreement, etc. That doesn’t always happen, though.

It’s easy to get starry-eyed when it comes to working with others, especially if you’ve admired them from afar for a while or even been friends for a while. It’s important not to let that happen, though. Not everyone will be a good fit.
