One of my favorite ways to boost sales on new offers is to offer a coupon code good for 50% off the price. But the catch is that this offer is ONLY good for the first 100 customers.

Why cap the number of coupons?  Because if you don’t cap it, then everybody gets the same deal and it is not a reward for early adopters.  I want my customers who love my products and grab them early to get the added benefit of a great deal that is not available to others.  These “first 100” are my true fans, my VIPs and I want them to be treated as special … because they are.

A Foolproof Plan to Beat Procrastination

A few days ago I ran for seven hours and eleven minutes without a break.  Let that sink in for just a moment to realize the magnitude of it.  That’s not a typo. I ran all day.  In extreme conditions.

When I woke up that morning, that’s what I intended to do.  I drove to the ultra race start zone.  Waited around with the other runners.  And then took off.  It was fully planned.

Here’s how I did it:  I took a step.  Then another step.  And then another step.

If I had gotten up that morning and said out loud, “I’m gonna run for over seven hours today”, I probably wouldn’t have done it.  That’s insanely daunting.
