How to Master Your Time Management

It’s no wonder you’re overwhelmed— you have way too much on your plate. There’s too much to do and too little time to do it.

You’re not alone. Very few people truly know how to manage their time well. It’s often because they have bad habits related to time management.

Here’s a test for you— do you have a clear idea of what your work goals and objectives are every day? Do you know why you’re doing what you’re doing? Are you easily distracted and do you constantly find yourself checking email and social media? Do you feel that you put in a solid daily effort? Now, open your eyes. Take a look around your desk or whatever environment you’re sitting in right now. Is it cluttered? Can you easily access everything you need to access?

Open up your web browser. Do you have a ton of tabs open right now? Have you found yourself wasting time on social media sites?

Chunking Projects

How long is your to-do list? You’re in business for yourself, so I’m sure it’s about a mile long.

Are you where you thought you’d be in business at this point? It’s probably the case that you thought you’d have some bigger projects completed and that you’d be further along at this point.

It’s no wonder it’s hard to get anything done and complete projects. There’s only so much you can handle in a day. It’s overwhelming and so it’s much easier to just put it off.
