How to Eliminate Distractions

Close your eyes, sit back, and relax for a moment. I’m going to assume that you’re working right now or that you were in the midst of working.

Listen for a moment. What are the noises that you hear around you? Are these typical noises for your workday? Do you hear noises from the street, from the other people in the café, or noises around the house from your family?

Finding Your “Reason Why” You Want to Improve Your Habits

One of the most important things you can do as you work to improve your habits is find your Reason Why you want to improve. If you don’t have a “Reason Why,” then I’m sorry to say that you probably won’t have the passion about the habits you’re trying to change to keep on going.

Think of it this way– If you were starving and didn’t have any food to feed your family, but you had an incredible chance to do a little bit of work in order to earn more money, you’d probably go for it, right? If you knew that all you had to do was write a book for Kindle or design a website for someone or choose an extra shift at work… you’d most likely go for that little bit extra that will save you and your family from starvation. Then, you’d keep it up because you never want to be in that place again.

Building Everyone Into a Frenzy

People love to have something to look forward to. It’s one thing to just launch a product and have people decide that it’s right for them. If they’re really loyal to you, they’ll buy whatever you’re selling, then and there. But, most customers don’t work that way. If you want to sell more products, then it’s time to pay attention to how you can pre-sell people in your niche on buying your products before they’ve even been released. You can tease and build up your products to get everyone into a frenzy so they will buy right away.

You used to see this kind of teasing and preselling done time and time again. It would often happen with very high-end guru products—they’d tease the product for weeks or even months. They whole community would be talking about it. By the time the product rolled around and was for sale, people eagerly jumped over to the buy button without even reading the sales page.
