Video #1 – Introduction & Getting Started

In this video, we will give you a quick overview of the video course itself so you know exactly what to expect. This course is not about how to set up your WordPress blog or anything like that, because the biggest failure occurs because most people do not plan. Therefore, we are going to make sure that you are setting yourself up for success, not failure.

Video #2 – Find A Profitable Niche

This is one of the most important steps of this whole process, because if you pick the wrong niche then you will fail. But how do you know if you are going to fail or succeed? Fortunately, we have several tests in this video course that will allow you to go through a step-by-step process to detect your chances of success. Of course it’s easy to simply say go ahead and pick any niche, but that is not going to work, and we’ll talk more about it in this video.

Video #3 – Longevity Test

In this short test, we will be able to detect whether this blog will be able to operate for the long term.

Video #4 – Authority Test

How do you know that you are an authority in your niche? How do you know you can gain the trust of your audience in your niche? Well, in this video you will be given a test that will give you a clear-cut view of whether you can be the authority or not and withstand the test of time.

Video #5 – Competition Test

When it comes to having competition inside of your niche, that is always a good sign. But having too much competition is never good. Either way, having competition means that there is a buying market and a large enough market that you will be able to get a piece of the pie within. Now, the key is to become an authority within a subset of that niche. We are going to show you how to do the proper research to find this, find who your competitors are and what they are doing to succeed, and more importantly what they are not doing, so you could come in and fill that gap

Video #6 – Product Test

One way to detect whether you will be able to monetize the niche that you are going into is by looking to see if there are enough products to sell. As such, in this video we are going to show you how to go about finding products that you can sell on your blog.

Video #7 – Topic Generation

In this video, you are going to learn how to find topics for your blog, because in the end you will need to have a large list of them before you get started or have an idea of what you want to talk about. How do you know if these topics are something that your audience will really go crazy over, or will bore them and put them to sleep? This video shows you how.

Video #8 – Blog Post Creation

As you have created a list of topics, it’s now time to get a better idea of how to create your blog posts. Should your blogs be long? Should they be filled with videos? And how can you go about creating blog posts at super-fast speed? More on that in this video.

Finally, now that you have a plan in place, it’s time to look at blogging platforms. We will discuss the benefits and the disadvantages of each platform that we recommend using.

Interviewing Experts

Marketers are always looking for ways to expand their reach. You and other marketers have this in common. That’s why using interviewing techniques can be so powerful for traffic generation. When you interview someone else, they get the benefit of your traffic. You get the benefit of their traffic since they’ll also market that interview to their lists and contacts.

Feature Experts So They’ll Share Your Content

You can even feature several marketers at a time. Let’s say you want to write an amazing blog post that has a strong chance of going viral—in fact, it’s almost inevitable. To do this, email several experts in your niche with one simple question. Post their answers within on your blog post. Email each marketer when the post is live and they’ll likely link back to it and spread it all around. Their followers will get excited about it as well. People love showing their audience where they’ve been interviewed or have contributed because it helps establish their expertise. You can get great traffic as a result, simply by giving people a platform and stroking their egos.

You can also feature experts within your own product. When they’re featured, whether in an audio product, video product, or written product, they will be a lot more likely to become an affiliate of that product and promote.

Meeting and Exceeding Your Self Publishing Goals

You’ve probably noticed something if you’ve read other books of mine – I am a huge, huge proponent of goal setting. I would feel like I was doing you a disservice if I didn’t talk about goal setting when it comes to self publishing. That’s because those who set goals are bound to be much more successful than those that don’t.

You need a target to shoot for with everything you do. You need to know what you’re aiming for, very specifically. Knowing that you want to become “successful by publishing on Kindle” is not nearly enough. You need to define how much you would like to earn, and when. Why do you need or want to earn money by publishing on Kindle? Define that for yourself and use it to help you formulate your goals.

You also need to set goals for yourself when it comes to your work. How many books would you like to have published by the end of this year? How many books would you like to have published by the end of this month? Break it down very specifically like that.

When you set very specific goals, it gives you a roadmap to follow. You’ll be able to break down what you need to do and when you need to do it in order to achieve your goals. You’ll also be a whole lot more motivated because you’ll have those other goals to strive for – you’ll know that if you work hard and release X number of books over this year, then you’ll probably earn at least X number of dollars, as long as you play your cards right.

7 Keys to Creating Content That Converts

Let me give some quick keys to using everything we have talked about so far.

  1. Use appealing titles and draw readers into the content immediately. One of the things that you must do is gain and keep the attention of prospects. The best way to gain attention is use great titles to your articles. What is the ultimate benefit to the reader?  Showcase it in the title.  Be specific, but believable.  Keeping attention means making a promise in the opening paragraph.  What about that ultimate benefit are you going to share in the article?  Make your most important statements about what is to come in the beginning of your article.  And then deliver on what you promise.
