We all need someone to lead us. It doesn’t matter how far along we are in the game, there’s always someone a little further ahead.

You’re that person for other people. Whether you’ve been in business for decades, years, or even just months, you know more than someone else. You have insight and skills of leadership that can cut down on the time it takes someone else to get started.

What you know is valuable; make no mistake about it.

Not sure you know “enough” to get into the coaching business? There’s something really special and unique about you that’s going to help someone. There is only one “you” on the planet. The longer you wait, the longer the people you’re going to help have to wait to receive your services.

Driving Traffic to Build Your List

Driving traffic is a hugely important piece of the puzzle when it comes to building your list.

Many people get discouraged because they set up a squeeze page and put an opt-in form on their blog or website… only to find that they’re not actually getting anyone to sign up. This tends to happen when people have the “if you build it, they will come” mentality. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. The only way to get traffic is to work hard at getting traffic.

If you don’t have any traffic coming in, or you have just a trickle here and there, then there’s no way to know if your squeeze page is actually working and converting or not.

Formatting Your Sales Letter

It’s important to format your sales letter well. You can have wonderful words there that would persuade the reader… if only you’d formatted those words in a pleasing way. Your sales letter should look professional and appealing. It shouldn’t be distracting or people will just click away. Not to mention there are some time tested formatting ‘tricks’ that work to increase conversions—that’s what I’m going to share with you.

First, there are some common issues newer copywriters tend to run into when they try to write and format sales copy. First, you might end up with a ‘sea of text.’ This happens when you don’t have any white space, subheads, a different sized headline, etc. You just sort of write your sales copy and let it go.

No one wants to read just a wall or sea of text! It’s hard on the eyes and it’s not appealing at all. People will click away because it’s not appealing at all to just have a ton of text there with nothing to break it up. You need white space and objects (like boxes, graphics, and other formatting items) there to break the text apart and draw the eye to text that is particularly important.

Get 20 New Affiliates and Create Awesome Affiliate Materials

I’ve spent a lot of time creating an attractive affiliate program for my products and memberships that really serve my affiliates. I’ve tried to set my affiliate program apart from most of what’s out there. This is about helping you do the same.

Now, it’s time for you to do that for your products. First, think back to the past year (or however long you’ve been creating your own products). If you have an affiliate program at all, how much time and effort have you put into providing affiliates with everything they need? Have you ever actively recruited affiliates? Have you given them materials that can help them easily promote with little effort on their part?

If you’ve put in little to no effort, it probably shows in your sales. If you’ve put a lot of effort in, where are there holes in your efforts? Do some digging so you know exactly what you’d like to do.
