I’m going to give you some ideas here that aren’t the most popular in our industry taught by the gurus, but have been extremely successful for me on starting from nothing and really building the list that you want, that’s not only going to be a list of numbers but a list of people who respond to your marketing communication.

So we’re going to discuss some things about quantity and quality, how to single out the best prospects who are most likely to respond and be the ideal prospects for you, how to set the tone of expectation, how to give them something they can’t get anywhere else, how to always push them to do a certain action after reading your marketing communication, and show them that there’s consequences for them not following your information and advice. That’s the two ways you do it — with positive and negative conditioning.

Failure Is Your Friend

Ask yourself this- is it possible to succeed all of the time? If you can manage to do everything absolutely perfectly, will you achieve your dreams?

Maybe you’re feeling pretty confident about this and your answer is positive. Well, I wish I had your positivity- truly.

Based on my experience, it’s always good to try your best but perfection doesn’t exist. You can try and try and try to get all your ducks in a row but the unexpected will happen.
