The Power of Homework Assignments

Think back to a time when you really meant to commit to something but it just didn’t happen. You jumped in with both feet. You were sure that this was the time when things were going to change for you.

Maybe it was a time when you bought a new product or course you were sure was going to transform your business. Maybe it was even a time when you invested in hiring a coach to help take you the next level in your business.

When you hire a coach, you reasoned, it’s next to impossible to fail. After all, they’re working directly with you, you’re paying a lot of money, they know what they’re talking about, and you’re really, really committed.

Only… maybe you dropped out of the coaching anyway or didn’t follow through on what the coach said. Assuming you had a good coach who held up his or her end of the bargain, that means the lack of follow through was on… you.

Starting Your Own Affiliate Program

If you want to make more money with your products and services, then you need to get affiliates. Affiliates are the lifeblood of any online business. Seriously… It’s as simple as that.

You want people to help you drive traffic, right? That’s not even a question – you don’t want to have to drive all the traffic yourself. That takes much more time than you have available.

You also want to be able to build your list as you market your products. But if you only have access to the same customers you’ve always had access to, then you’re stuck in the same position. Having access to the lists of affiliates can really give a great boost your business. Every time someone buys from one of your affiliates, they get added to your email list, too.

How to Start a Tumblr Blog

As Tumblr themselves say, “Tumblr is so easy to use that it’s hard to explain!”

They go on to describe, “We made it really, really simple for people to make a blog and put whatever they want on it. Stories, photos, GIFs, TV shows, links, quips, dumb jokes, smart jokes, Spotify tracks, MP3s, videos, fashion, art, deep stuff. Tumblr is 276 million different blogs, filled with literally whatever.”

As you can probably gather, Tumblr is really not that difficult to get started with and it’s extremely versatile. People like you successfully start Tumblr blogs every single day – from the young to the old. Tumblr is all about blogging, being part of a community, opening up your creativity and doing pretty much whatever you want with an incredibly flexible platform.

With Tumblr, you can blog about things you want to blog about, you can reblog things others have blogged, and other people can do the same thing with what you blog. Tumblr is a great mixture of blogging and social media.

Creating a Series of Books

As a self-published author, you’re always looking for ways to earn more money with your books. To do that, you have to think about the needs of your audience. What do they want?

No matter whether you write fiction or nonfiction, writing a series of books can often be a great idea. Think about what people want after they finish a book… If they really liked the book, then they want more, more, more.

In the case of fiction, they want to know more about the characters in the world you built.

In the case of nonfiction, they want to know more about the topic you covered, including new information, different angles on the information, advanced information, and so on.
