It’s easy to forget that there are ways to drive traffic to your links and projects as an affiliate other than writing content. Don’t get me wrong— writing reviews, blogging, and building your list using content are all great ideas.
But there’s a whole other world out there. There’s a world of promotion that fewer marketers know how to tap into. That’s a shame, because you can drive a lot of great traffic using this method. That means you can make more sales as an affiliate.
The method I’m talking about is YouTube marketing. You’ve no doubt spent countless hours on YouTube yourself over the years. You’ve watched videos on topics you were interested in.

It’s a very exciting prospect to start a podcast these days. It’s fun and it’s actually a lot easier than you might be thinking to get started. Not only is it easier, but it’s also very inexpensive… Or even free.
LinkedIn is a fantastic social media site. There’s really nothing else out there like it. Sure, you have Facebook, Twitter, and other social platforms. But, LinkedIn was created strictly for networking and getting the word out there about one’s skills on the job and/or one’s business.
Many people who are new to self-publishing would rather write a nonfiction book than a fiction book. That’s not the case with everyone, of course. But, there’s something about writing nonfiction that seems less daunting than writing fiction. After all, you’ve no doubt written nonfiction before, at least in some capacity. You’ve written essays for school and things like that.
