YouTube Marketing as an Affiliate

It’s easy to forget that there are ways to drive traffic to your links and projects as an affiliate other than writing content. Don’t get me wrong— writing reviews, blogging, and building your list using content are all great ideas.

But there’s a whole other world out there. There’s a world of promotion that fewer marketers know how to tap into. That’s a shame, because you can drive a lot of great traffic using this method. That means you can make more sales as an affiliate.

The method I’m talking about is YouTube marketing. You’ve no doubt spent countless hours on YouTube yourself over the years. You’ve watched videos on topics you were interested in.

How to Set Up and Run a Podcast

It’s a very exciting prospect to start a podcast these days. It’s fun and it’s actually a lot easier than you might be thinking to get started. Not only is it easier, but it’s also very inexpensive… Or even free.

The great thing about podcasting is that you can use it to get a lot of great traffic for your business. ITunes and other podcasting directories have a lot of listeners and can help get you in front of a whole new segment of your audience. It’s well worth paying attention to—even if it seems too technical at first (I promise; it’s not).

Whether you’ve wanted to dive into podcasting for a long time now or you hadn’t thought this was the right path for you, up to now, I think you’ll find that this is a great choice. If you want to grow your business, then it’s definitely worth giving podcasting more than a passing glance. I know some in business who credit podcasting with being their main source of traffic (and in some cases these are multi-million dollar businesses). And this isn’t just any sort of traffic, it’s highly targeted, highly engaged traffic – at least it is when you do it the right way.

How to Use LinkedIn For Business

LinkedIn is a fantastic social media site. There’s really nothing else out there like it. Sure, you have Facebook, Twitter, and other social platforms. But, LinkedIn was created strictly for networking and getting the word out there about one’s skills on the job and/or one’s business.

That’s a game changer, when you really think about it. People aren’t typically on Facebook to learn about you or your business. People aren’t on Twitter for that reason either.

But, when someone logs into LinkedIn, they’re specifically looking for more information about someone they can hire for a job or for more information about a businessperson or business they’re interested in or want to buy from.

Easily Writing a Nonfiction Book

Many people who are new to self-publishing would rather write a nonfiction book than a fiction book. That’s not the case with everyone, of course. But, there’s something about writing nonfiction that seems less daunting than writing fiction. After all, you’ve no doubt written nonfiction before, at least in some capacity. You’ve written essays for school and things like that.

It’s also the case that writing nonfiction can be very profitable. There are tons of hot selling books on Kindle that have been written by self-published authors. I will caution you that it might be easier to make money with fiction on Kindle. But, that’s not to say that there’s no money to be made with nonfiction. There certainly is – as long as you know which book topics are likely to sell.

It’s always better to write something you’re more comfortable with if that means you’ll actually get the writing done. There are many people who want to self-publish, but who are too intimidated by trying to chase the hottest or best topic that they never follow through and write. If you feel confident that you can write a nonfiction book, then this is the best way forward for you.
