How to Make a Difference in Someone’s Life

make a differenceToday’s episode comes from the archives of my Daily Seminar site, and was written and narrated by Jason Fladlien…

Hello, Jason Fladlien here, and today I want to discuss with you how an IM’er, an Internet Marketer, can make a difference in somebody else’s life.

There’s some interesting stuff here. I think you’re going to get a lot of benefit from this, because once you know how to deliver value better than your contemporaries deliver value, you’re going to make a lot more money. Some of this stuff is pretty obvious, but I have my own slants on it as I always do. And some of the stuff is not so obvious, and a lot of people overlook that. The result is they don’t infuse that in their marketing, and therefore, that’s one less competitive advantage they bring to the table.

Once you can understand how you can impact people’s lives and all the different ways you can do so, if you can create a plan to put as much of that into your business as possible, you’re going to kick some butt.

How to Choose a Product to Promote

Affiliate marketing is exciting because there are so many possibilities. You can promote digital or physical products in your niche. You can even promote services. That opens up a lot of opportunity to earn a fantastic income as an affiliate. It also opens up the need to make some decisions.

If you had your way, you’d be able to promote anything and everything. People would be buying from your links left and right. Well, it just doesn’t work that way. It’s important to be strategic about the things you promote. You can’t and shouldn’t just promote anything and everything. You should only promote the things you know your audience will need and want, are of high quality, and suit the way you want people to view your business.

That’s right—you only want to align yourself with certain products and/or merchants. It’s not a good idea to promote something that’s of low quality just because it will potentially earn you a good commission. You might end up with a lot of refunds on your hands. More importantly, people will have a lowered perception of you and might not put much (or any) stock into your future product recommendations.

Things are so different, so much better, when you apply a certain set of criteria to the things you choose to promote. Ask yourself:

Article Marketing as an Affiliate

Article marketing is something that’s long been appealing for Internet marketers. The dream of working from home and/or having your own business is that you get to work when you want and earn great money doing it—articles are a dream for many people in that regard.

It’s not secret that the web revolves around great content. Whether it’s short or long content, content on social media, content on blogs and websites, or content found in article directories.

You’re an affiliate marketer, or you want to be, and you want to have the best possible chance of effectively marketing the products you’re promoting as an affiliate. It makes sense to turn to content to do that.

An Overview of Today’s Social World

Why Social Media Is So Important To Your Business

Social media is an integral part of how the world operates these days. People check and interact on social media as part of their daily routine.

They wake up and see what’s been posted on Facebook. They tweet and retweet a few things on Twitter. They pin a few things on Pinterest.

Then lunchtime rolls around and they repeat the process all over again. If they have business-to-business goals or they’re looking into the job market, they might check in on LinkedIn.

They go through the entire process again before bed. It’s not quite accurate to call it an addiction because it’s just part of how society communicates.

People expect to find their friends, family, and favorite companies on social media. They find, follow, and friend those they care about.

Recurring Income From Coaching

Recurring income is a wonderful thing to have—especially when you’re building life changing income as someone offering coaching for life or business related topics. It’s hard to get new customers—you know that as a businessperson. It’s much easier and much more ideal to have the same customers pay you over and over again.

That’s exactly what can happen when you focus on recurring income from coaching. You’ll find coaching clients, win them over, hook them with a fantastic, long-term coaching plan or program, and they’ll pay you over and over again.

As a coach, you provide a wonderful service. People pay you to learn what you know. They pay to get access to your unique insights for their life or business. They’re also paying to tap into your experience, including your prior failures, so that their path to success is easier and quicker.

Sometimes, coaching is a one-off thing. A client will hire you as a coach and pay you one sum of money in exchange for help in reaching a particular milestone or help in resolving an important problem they have.
