The Cold or Dead List Checklist

No one ever wants to let their list grow cold, but sometimes it happens. And when it happens, you wonder if you should abandon the list or try to warm them up again. That decision is up to. But if you decide to warm them up again, then use this checklist to help you do it. Take a look…

Step 1: Check the Original Opt-in Page

You want to make sure that any emails you send match the original purpose of the list.  Don’t guess – go back and check the actual opt-in pages (where applicable) to see what you promised to subscribers.

Step 2: Segment If Possible

If you segmented this list earlier, then you’ll want to send separate emails to each segment of the list. That way, you can craft emails that are as targeted as possible.

Step 3: Plan an Email Series

Now what you want to do is plan a high-value series of three to five emails.  Your goals are to reintroduce yourself, offer value in terms of high quality content and/or freemium, and get the used to opening your emails again.

The Neuro Chemical Theory of Human Behavior

Hello.  Jason Fladlien here from DailySeminar.com, and I got something that’s a little kind of out there.  It’s a little bit theoretical, but I’m going to show you some practical applications.  I took this theory and made it into a reality, and it’s totally changed my life and the way that I do business.

I call this the neuro chemical theory of human behavior.  It’s really just different states that we access and what causes those states.  Then when you figure out what causes your productive states, the states that make you feel really good, you have more control over them, and you can trigger them better.  And if you get really good at this as a black belt, then you can do it pretty much whenever you want.

This is just amazing.  This one idea that I had as a theory, I then turned into a practical system.  I’ll give you the background first because, like I said, it’s kind of strange.  But work with me here.  Try this out for 7 days, and tell me that it doesn’t make a huge difference in your life.

Let’s talk emotional states for a second first, as kind of a precursor to really get into this so you better understand this.  I want you to consider this:  Do you gradually go into a blind rage, or does it happen all at once?  Very rarely do people slowly build up over a period of time blind rage.  In most cases, you build up what’s called intolerance, disgruntledness, agitation — but those are different states.  I’m talking about blind rage.

Copywriting Challenge 7: Pull, part 2

Earlier, I told you that another common objection people raise has to do with a money-back guarantee.

The objection is usually something along the lines of, “What if this doesn’t work for me?

And your answer is: “You’ll get your money back.

This is your promise… your guarantee. It’s also referred to as a risk-reversal, because it takes the risk off your buyer and puts it squarely on your shoulders. And that means your buyer has nothing to lose by ordering from you.

The purpose of an offering a promise is to help ease your prospect’s mind and remove any major objections. The benefit to you is that a strong promise often boosts your conversion rate. Better yet, a long guarantee often reduces your refund rate!

Bottom line, you put (and keep) more money in your pocket!
